Modeling stamps, set of 4

Create 4 impressive reliefs in seconds

Smooth surfaces of modeling compound or clay gain a fascinating, round relief with the four different motifs of our wooden stamps. The surface becomes three-dimensional and inspires further ideas. The tactile result is reminiscent of a flower stamp, water or sun rays. Fantastic modeling accessories that allow children to see quick successes and support the implementation of creative modeling ideas.

Play idea for the sense of touch

A child stamps the four different motifs into the smooth surface of plastilina clay. Now someone is asked who dares to recognize these with closed eyes. The child is given a blindfold and enough time to explore the four different reliefs beside them with their fingers. Then another child may choose one of the four stamps and stamp the motif onto a free area in front of the blindfolded child. Now they try to feel which of the four stamp motifs it is.

The best modeling accessories for children

Tested for you

To give children more variety and creative design options when kneading and modeling, we have tested the most popular accessories for you and compiled them into a selected range:

The modeling rollers encourage children to roll. As soon as they have the sturdy fluted rolling pin in their hands, the most beautiful motifs appear. These are shortly thereafter further processed with the versatile cookie cutters. The great thing about the cutters: they offer the right themes for the whole year and are therefore always a popular companion at the modeling table. Another highlight for modeling is the lovely stamps. Practical: the plastilina clay takes a nice impression but does not stick to the stamps.

How to soften clay again

4 easy tricks

  • Microwave: Warm the clay in the microwave for 15 seconds at 750 watts to start. If the result is not yet satisfactory, simply put the modeling mass back in the microwave for another 15 seconds.
  • Heater: Wrap the clay in a damp kitchen towel and place it on the radiator. After 2–3 hours knead the mass through and check whether it is already soft enough. If not, place the clay again in the damp kitchen towel on the radiator and test repeatedly.
  • Damp cloth: Especially in summer this is more pleasant and sensible than the heater variant. Wrap the clay in a damp kitchen towel and leave it overnight. Knead the mass thoroughly the next day.
  • Oil or water: Put the dried-out clay into a tightly sealable container. Add a few drops of vegetable oil or water. After about twelve hours in the closed container the mass should be pliable again. Caution: If you add too much oil or water, the clay will become mushy—so better test sparingly at first.

We wish you great success and supple results.
