Making dough soft again 4 simple tricks Microwave: Warm the dough in the microwave for an initial 15 seconds at 750 watts. If the result is not yet satisfactory, simply put the dough back in the microwave for another 15 seconds. Heater: Wrap the dough in a damp kitchen towel and place it on the heater.
