Modeling rollers set of 4 - small dough rollers for children

Varied modeling & rolling

Modeling clay or play dough is often rolled, pressed, torn apart and shaped with hands and fingers. Smooth, even surfaces are harder to achieve with fingers alone, and that's where the smooth roller comes into play. With our dough rollers, children roll out a nice smooth surface from the dough mound that can then be further worked on. For example with the 3 other modeling rollers. The surface is decorated in seconds with relief and beautiful patterns. With our wooden modeling rollers, children have an accessory that lets them create striking 3D surfaces reminiscent of waves, cobblestones and special mosaics.

The best modeling accessory for children

Tested for you

To give children more variety and creative possibilities when kneading and modeling, we tested the most popular accessories for you and compiled them in a selected range:

The modeling rollers encourage children to roll. As soon as they have the sturdy corrugated roller in their hands, the most beautiful motifs appear. These are shortly afterwards further processed with the versatile cookie cutters. The great thing about the cutters: they offer the right themes for the whole year and are therefore always a popular companion at the play-dough table. Another highlight for modeling is the lovely stamps. The practical thing: the plastilin dough takes a nice impression but does not stick to the stamps. The remnants of the dough also find new shape through the funny dough syringes .

Making dough soft again

4 simple tricks

  • Microwave: Warm the dough in the microwave for an initial 15 seconds at 750 watts. If the result is not yet satisfactory, simply put the dough back in the microwave for another 15 seconds.
  • Heater: Wrap the dough in a damp kitchen towel and place it on the heater. After 2-3 hours knead the mass through and check whether it is already soft enough. If not, place the dough again in the damp kitchen towel on the heater and test repeatedly.
  • Damp cloth: Especially in summer this is more pleasant and sensible than the heater variant. Wrap the dough in a damp kitchen towel and leave it to sit overnight. Knead the mass thoroughly the next day.
  • Oil or water: Put the dried-out dough in a well-sealable container. Add a few drops of vegetable oil or water. After about twelve hours in the closed container the mass should be pliable again. Caution: If you add too much oil or water, the dough will become mushy - so test sparingly at first.

We wish you much success and supple results.
