Dough Syringes Set of 8 - Dough accessory for pressing
How it works
The dough or modeling clay should definitely be soft enough for children to press it through the dough syringes on their own. Warm it with your hands or make the modeling compound nice and soft by kneading and adding moisture. Roll 2–3 cm long and 1–2 cm thick ropes and thread them into the syringe barrel. Place the syringe plunger and now some strength is needed! Press! But the effort with the dough syringes is worth it! The 4 different nozzles deliver great results: star, flower, triangle strands and spaghetti strings. The strings can be braided or used as decoration for other projects. Charming corners, stars and flowers come out when the strands are cut into slices.
The best dough accessory for children
Tested for you
To give children more variety and creative possibilities when kneading and modeling, we have tested the most popular accessories for you and compiled them into a selected range:
The dough rollers encourage children to roll. As soon as they have the sturdy corrugated roller in their hands, the most beautiful motifs appear. These are then further processed with the versatile cookie cutters shortly thereafter. The cool thing about the cutters: they offer the right themes for the whole year and are therefore always a popular companion at the dough table. Another highlight for dough design are the lovely stamps. The practical thing: the plasticine dough gets a nice print, but does not stick to the stamps.
Re-softening dough
4 easy tricks
- Microwave: Warm the dough in the microwave for 15 seconds at 750 watts to start. If the result is not yet satisfactory, simply put the dough back in the microwave for another 15 seconds.
- Heater: Wrap the dough in a damp kitchen towel and place it on the radiator. After 2–3 hours knead the compound through and check whether it is already soft enough. If not, place the dough again in the damp kitchen towel on the radiator and test repeatedly.
- Damp cloth: Especially in summer this is more pleasant and sensible than the radiator method. Wrap the dough in a damp kitchen towel and leave it overnight. Knead the compound thoroughly the next day.
-
Oil or water: Put the dried-out dough into a well-sealable container.
Add a few drops of vegetable oil or water. After about twelve hours in the closed container the compound should be kneadable again.
Caution: If you add too much oil or water, the dough will become mushy — so test sparingly at first.
We wish you much success and smooth results.
