How to use a Magnetic Cube?

The magnetic cube consists of 24 magnetic, three-dimensional triangles. These can be easily connected by the attraction of the magnetic surfaces. However, forming the cube can present an exciting challenge for children and adults. After all, the colorful magnetic triangles must not simply be randomly joined together but combined in such a way that they ultimately form the shape of the cube.

Our magnetic cube consists of fewer parts than the Shashibo cube. This allows children and adults with less time to experience the meditative and focused process of assembling the magnetic cube.

Possible uses with the Magnetic Cube

Create new magnetic images & template cards from them

What a great feeling it is to have created something yourself. The built magnetic image is photographed and serves as a template card for other children to replicate the magnetic image.

Color theory

Children can sort the magnetic triangles by color. They can also replicate template cards and name the colors while doing so.

Partner work

One person holds the created template card and gives instructions to the executing person about which triangle must be placed where to replicate the template card. The executing person does not see the template card and thus fully engages with the verbal instructions and imagination on how to implement the spoken directions.
