Fröbelturm made of solid wood - tower building game

The Fröbelturm has surely earned its place among the most popular team games.
Its easy-to-understand rules and many possible uses combine exciting fun with active team building.

Build the Fröbelturm together in cooperative teamwork

The goal of the game is to build a tower from the blocks. To achieve this, cords are used to control a hook. The hook fits into the notches of the blocks and is used to construct the tower. With combined forces, one block after another is placed on the hook and stacked with utmost concentration. This can create quite a thrill. An exciting game whose goal can only be reached together.

On top: To improve success, we provide the top surface of the hardwood blocks with crossed notches. This allows a fallen block to be easily set upright again using the hook.

Strengthening team building & the individual

A shared goal that connects:

Feeling connected to the group. A valuable feeling that can arise even when the players do not yet know each other. Through a common goal.
The collective ambition and the resulting sense of togetherness are quickly sparked by the Fröbelturm.
A feeling that unites.

Change of perspective & empathy:

When building the Fröbelturm, the perspective of others is taken into account. If, for example, one side has to pull tightly, the other eases off. Players learn to think holistically and to put themselves in the other person’s position.

verbal & nonverbal communication:

Since everyone has to pull together, cooperation and communication are required.
The players bring in their own ideas but must agree on a common direction.
It is important to take on board what fellow players say and to express one’s own views to the group.
Communication can be verbal but also nonverbal. One of the many game variants relies on not speaking during play. An exciting form of implementation. Here the focus is once again placed on learning to read the other players correctly and to express oneself through body language.

Creating and implementing solutions together:

The Fröbelturm serves as a practical example of a lively, democratic community. Problems are identified and solutions are devised together. Solutions that sometimes demand compromise and train the adaptability of individual players. But this does not always mean conforming; presenting one’s own ideas also leads the group to exactly the solutions needed to reach the common goal.

Getting to know the players:

The Fröbelturm is a valuable tool for getting to know the players and offers the opportunity to better understand team constellations. Observing the gameplay provides valuable insights.
Who plans first and who throws themselves straight into action?
Who is patient, who is impatient?
Who takes which role?
How are one’s own mistakes handled? And those of others?
This helps to better understand teams and to support individual players specifically in their development.

Achieve goals together and celebrate success

There it finally stands: the Fröbelturm!
Who managed that? We did.
A sense of achievement that strengthens groups.

Groups of 4 to 24 people from 6 years old

The Fröbelturm is suitable for different group sizes. From 4 players the fun can already begin and it doesn’t stop even with large groups. The Fröbelturm can be played with up to 24 players. It is suitable for players from 6 years old. There is no upper age limit. After all, belonging is good for everyone.

Versatile uses and gameplay possibilities incl. instructions

The Fröbelturm is suitable for a wide range of groups—schools, kindergartens, seminars, sports teams or colleagues at work. This versatile team game is an enrichment for any group.
Another brilliance of the Fröbelturm: it is quick and easy to explain.
Nevertheless, you receive the Fröbelturm including instructions. These show, alongside interesting facts and inspiring ideas, practical usage and gameplay possibilities. For example, the Fröbelturm can be built using each player’s weak hand or entirely nonverbally. A game with many facets.

High-quality hardwood blocks made in the EU & sustainable transport routes

With consciously selected materials, the Fröbelturm from KRAFT stands for long durability and robust play pleasure.
The blocks are made from attractive beech wood. We source this based on sustainable production steps within Europe. To ensure longer durability, the wood is coated with a varnish. Here too we use high-quality water-based materials. These are certified with the European EN71 certificate and are thus lead- and saliva-safe. For pleasant play and more sustainability.
