The round weaving frame from KRAFT gives artists from age 4 the opportunity to create their very own round woven treasures. A wide variety of wool threads, decorative yarns, textile yarns, beads or found objects are woven in with the blunt weaving needle. Old T‑shirts can be sustainably turned into textile yarn and worked into the woven piece. Wool for felting can also be woven into the frame and then felted in hot soapy water. This creates the most beautiful pot holders and coasters. Because the round weaving frame is so easy to use, even kindergarten children can create individual woven art. Treasures and found objects, such as natural materials from the last walk in the woods, can also flow into the woven art.

Instructions

Any thread that fits into the 3 mm notches can be used to warp the round weaving frame. To begin, wrap the thread around one prong of the frame and tie it securely there. Then place the thread into the opposite notch and lead it clockwise around that prong on the outside. Then stretch it back to the opposite notch and lay it in again using the same principle, lead it outwards and wrap it clockwise around it. Repeat this process until a thread is stretched into every notch. Once this is done, the first wool cord can be selected for weaving and tied in the center of the frame. The first woven artwork is created. If you want to feel the weaving material at your fingertips, you can simply guide it through the frame with your fingers. But the included weaving needle can also be used to let the desired material glide up and down like a shuttle. Wave after wave, until your own artwork is complete. Once the entire frame has been woven as desired, tie off the end and you can simply pull the finished woven piece off the frame. So that it can be used again for the next artwork.
